You can use a query to load data when users visit a
form for the first time.
Note: Typically, a developer configures
forms in NexJ Studio.
Before using this functionality, contact your NexJ
representative.

Navigate to the Personalization page and
select the Advanced tab.

In the Personalized subtab, select a
screen or portlet that you have customized.

In the Queries subtab, select a form that
you have modified.

In the Selection Criteria subtab, click
the Add button
.
A new row displays below the Selection
Criteria subtab.

In the row, click in the Description
column.
A description field displays in the
Description column.

In the description field, enter a description of the query.

Click the expand button
beside the query description.
The Where Clause field displays in
the Description column.

In the Where Clause field, enter your
query.

Click the Save button

You have added a query that loads data in form when users visit
the form for the first time.
If the application you have just modified is currently running,
logged-in users will have to reset the user interface in order for the
changes to take effect. You can also use NexJ Admin Console to
clear the client state for individual users.
