To get more accurate statistics, you can remove
statistics from nodes that are no longer available. You can also reset
statistics, either for a single attribute of a node or for an entire
node.
There are three available commands for resetting statistics.
Their availability depends on the statistics you want to reset.
- removeStale
- Removes all statistics from nodes that are no longer available.
You can only invoke this command on the
Available node.
- reset
- Resets the statistics for a particular attribute of the current
node. You can invoke this command from any node except
Available,
Administration, or Java Virtual
Machine.
- resetAll
- Resets all statistics for the current node. You can invoke this
command from any node except Available,
Administration, or Java Virtual
Machine.
To reset statistics using NexJ System Admin Console:

In NexJ System Admin Console,
navigate to the Statistics page.

Find and select the node whose statistics you want to reset by
expanding the node for your NexJ application, for example,
nexj.finance.
The statistics for the selected node display on top of the
details area. Any available commands display on the bottom of the
details area.
- Optional:
Remove statistics from nodes that are no longer available.

Select the Available node.

Double-click the removeStale command
on the bottom of the details area.
The Invoke resetStale command
dialog opens.

Click Invoke.
A message in the Results area
indicates that you must refresh statistics after closing the
dialog. If you are resetting statistics on a remote or cluster
server, the message Operation will run
asynchronously may display instead.

Click the Close button
on the top right
corner of the dialog.
A confirmation dialog opens.

Click to close the confirmation dialog.
The confirmation and Invoke resetStale
command dialogs close.
- Optional:
Reset statistics for a particular attribute.

Select the node in the statistics tree.

bottom of the details area.
The Invoke reset command dialog

Double-click in the Value column in
the table.
The text entry field appears.

Enter the full name of the attribute in the text entry
field.
