Special considerations This section discusses special cases where synchronization behaves differently to avoid performance problems or to accommodate protocol limitations by Microsoft. Unsafe attachmentsAttachments with any of the following file extensions are considered to be unsafe and will not be synchronized.Attachment synchronizationNexJ CRM will not pick up any "in-place" changes (i.e., updates to an attachment's content in Exchange) made to already synchronized attachments from the mailbox of the synchronized user. Contact picture synchronizationThe profile picture of contacts in NexJ CRM will not be synchronized to Exchange.Delegate Access modeWhen synchronization is configured using Delegate Access mode instead of Impersonation mode, NexJ CRM cannot directly synchronize meeting creations to slave mailboxes. Onboarding users through LDAPWhen onboarding users, if a user's email is passed through LDAP but is not in Active Directory, then the user will be added without the email address.Parent topic: Administration Guide for Synchronization with Microsoft Exchange Server
