      Hello,

I would like to know how code (html/js) inside an iframe that is in turn loaded inside nexj can actually trigger page change in the main crm container.

Specifically, should we have a list of customer inside an iframe, is it possible on click of a specific entry in the displayed list to somehow (bubbling event? or whatever other means) trigger a redirect//opening to, for example, the customer worskapce and automatically display (open the relevant component) the details (through nexj native component) of a specific customer (the one that was clicked)?

If it’s not possible NOW with release 9.1, is this kind of scenario feasible with the release of 9.2 of the product? And if it is possible once 9.2 hits, is there any documentation or clarification explaining how this can be accomplished?

      Thanks in advance,

      Vito

Vito, we have implemented context setting (CRM sending context to the iFrame) in 9.1.  We will be adding the ability to send and receive events e.g. navigate to the relevant component with context in Q1 2019 in the 9.2 timeframe.  This will include the ability to send an event from a CRM component to the iFrame with parameters as well as to send events from the iFrame to CRM.  I will update this post when the feature is available.  Thanks, Ed
